Celebration of Learning

On Friday, we will have a celebration of this term's learning in Room 2. We will begin at 10.15 am. Everyone is welcome to come along and see what we have been up to this term. Time permitting, we will share our scrolls, character descriptions, our inquiry findings and the beautiful Kakahu (cloaks).

It is not going well because I haven't been here much. I will try to always be here and when I'm away I should read books about the topic.

My inquiry learning is going well because I like doing the work. I need to work on using the Internet.

Tayla

Learning about Chinese language and people is going well. I am finding more information about China. I need to work on how to get my stuff about Chinese language and people to save on my file.

Jessie-May

My inquiry is going well because I have got some information. I need to work on how to use the Computer properly because there is a lot on the Olympics.

Shane

It is going well because I have learnt heaps of information about police in China. I need to work on searching faster on the Internet.

Liam

It is going well because I have got 3 pages of work on the Great Wall of China. Some of it is about why people wanted to conquer China.
I need to work on not talking a lot to my friends.

My inquiry learning is going well because I have found out a lot of information about the Olympics. It is getting easier to find information. Now I need to find even more information on my topic.

My inquiry is not going well because we only have found three facts about our topic. We need to find more facts on our topic.

Layton

My inquiry is going ok because I have only got a page and a half in my book. I need to find more information on the computer. I also need to work on using the computer and finding the right keys to type in.

My inquiry is going well because I have written a lot into my topic book about Daily Life in China. I need to work on using the Internet on China.

My inquiry is going well because I know how to do lots of things on the computer. I need to do it faster because I am slow.

My inquiry is going well because I am learning more about China. I get my work done faster when I am not talking to anyone. I also need to find out more information about the Great Wall of China.

I think my inquiry isn't going too well because the Internet hasn't got too much information about Daily Life in China. I need to get more key words and finding websites that are actually good.
I think blogging and learning about Daily Life in China or any other thing is fun.

Children's posts

Over the next days we will be adding children's posts about their Inquiry. We had to think about how our inquiry learning into our chosen topic was going, and what we still need to work on. Feel free to make a comment on our learning.

Our virtual cat

Today we had fun installing our virtual cat onto our Blog. He/She will follow your mouse and purr if you rub his/her tummy. Have fun!
PS We need a name for him/her. Do you have any suggestions?
